Hastelloy B3 is exhibiting the high resistance ability against pure hydrobromic, hydrochloric and sulfuric acids. It is having very well improved structural stability, leading to the concerns during the fabrications and welding. This alloy similar to other alloys this alloy is also ductile in nature and it can be welded and formed and it resists excellently at chloride-bearing solutions, the stress corrosion cracking. It also withstands the fluoride bearing media and also withstands concentrated sulfuric acid. It is thus used in many industrial applications in the form of Hastelloy B3 Pipes & Tubes.
