Nickel Alloy 201 round bars are basically solid solution strengthened and pure wrought material that possesses excellent mechanical properties over the vast spectrum of temperature and pressure ranges. It even possesses excellent resistance toward tough corrosion. The nickel alloy controls carbon that helps in making the product embrittled through intergranular precipitates at the range of 600-1400 degree F. Typically, the nickel 201 gets combined into dual-certified resulting in the desired characteristic alloy.

The primary characteristic is excellent resistance toward caustic alkalies, high resistant toward reducing chemicals, high electrical conductivity, and excellent corrosion resistance toward natural and distilled water.

The secondary characteristic is excellent resistance toward dry fluorine, good electrical, thermal and magnetostrictive properties. It offers resistance towards sulfuric and hydrochloric acids at modest concentration and temperatures.
The nickel 201 provide great corrosion resistance in both neutral and reducing media as well as in atmospheres that contain oxygen thus allowing the formation of the passive oxide layer. This oxide film is known to offer excellent resistance in handling caustic soda. The corrosion rate can be used in both rural and marine atmosphere that are generally low. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in a distilled environment as well.
It also offers excellent resistance at very low-velocity sea water. It can even prevent round bars under fouling organisms or deposits. However, the nickel 201 is limited to services at a range of temperature below 600 degrees F.
After manufacturing of the nickel alloy 201 round bars, it gets tested and packed well.
